Cost of the War in Iraq
(JavaScript Error)
- The United States violated international law by invading Iraq
- The United States has never proven that Iraq was behind 9/11 in any
way
- The
United States has not yet found evidence of deliverable chemical
or biological weapons in Iraq, let alone nuclear weapons
- Radical Islam, as a direct result of this war, gained thousands more
new recruits who hate the United States
- Thousands of innocent civilians have been murdered or displaced, creating
a huge humanitarian crisis
- Other brutal dictators, some openly supported by the United States,
remain in power throughout the world
- Osama bin Laden, the criminal mastermind behind 9/11, remains at large
- Afghanistan remains in chaos
- Millions of Americans continue to live with financial uncertainity
because of bad economic practices and bad government policies
According to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, "You go
to war with the Army you have, not the Army you might want or wish to have."
It seems it makes little difference to this administration
that it chose this war. And it was a war that was unnecessary from the beginning.
It seems to suggest that this administration doesn't value
human life!
There
are civilian contractors crawling all over Iraq. Blackwater, Kellogg Brown & Root, Halliburton, on and on. These
contractors are making lots of money in Iraq. How much of this money is going into President Bush and Vice Pres. Cheney's bank
account. And yes we can' t forget President Bush' s daddy!
